Serve on the Bellevue Union School District Citizen’s Bond Oversight Committee

Via Andrea Noble, LSR Class 9

Dear Alumni of Leadership Santa Rosa,

The Bellevue Union School District is asking for your help to appoint members to a Citizen’s Bond Oversight Committee. The District is reaching out to LSR graduates who may have a connection to the Bellevue Union School District, or simply would like to assist the District to complete the membership of its Committee and move forward with its facility goals.

The Bond Oversight Committee reviews the expenditures that the District has made from bond funds. The BOC actively reviews and reports on the proper expenditure of taxpayers’ money for school construction, and informs and advises the public on those expenditures. The Bond Oversight Committee should be composed of at least seven members, who will serve for a term of two years. The ideal BOC will include members from specific groups within the community and two “at large” members.

The Bond Oversight Committee must meet at least annually. Can you hop on board with us to help the Bellevue Union School District complete its Measure C facility projects? Your moderate investment of time and talent will mean big returns for the Bellevue Union School District community.

Application for Appointment Form [PDF]

If you have further questions, please contact Dr. Chris Kim, Chief Financial Officer of the Bellevue Union School District, at ckim@busd.org, or the District’s consultant, Andrea Noble, LSR Class 9 and Senior Program Executive with RGM Kramer, Inc. at andrean@rgmkramer.com.
